In this set of steps you create multiple logical table sources for the D3 Customer logical table. To create multiple logical table sources you perform the following steps:
- Open the Repository in Offline Mode
- Add a New Logical Table Source
- Create Presentation Layer Objects
- Load the Repository
- Create and Run an Analysis
- Check the Query Log
Open the Repository in Offline Mode
1 . | Return to the Administration Tool, which should still be open. If not, select Start > Programs > Oracle Business Intelligence > BI Administration. |
---|---|
2 . | Open the BISAMPLE repository in offline mode with repository password is BISAMPLE1. Recall that earlier in this tutorial you created a copy of the online repository and saved it as BISAMPLE.rpd. |
3 . | Select Manage > Identity to open Identity Manager. |
4 . | Select BI Repository in the left pane. |
5 . | Recall that earlier in this tutorial you created a copy of
the online repository with logging level defined for the administrative
user. Confirm that your administrative user is visible in the right
pane. In this example the administrative user is weblogic. |
6 . | Double-click the administrative user to open the User dialog box. On the User tab, confirm that logging level is set to 2. |
7 . | Click Cancel to close the User dialog box. |
8 . | Select Action > Close to close Identity Manager. The offline BISAMPLE repository now has a user with a logging level set to 2. This will allow you to check the query log as you complete the remaining exercises in this tutorial. You will not have to repeat the steps of copying an online repository. |
